Think and grow rich

When one is truly ready for a thing, it puts in its appearance.

Success comes to those who become auccess conscious.

Failure comes to those who indifferently allow themselves to become failure conscious.

Every human being who understands the purpose of money wishes for it.

There is a difference between wishing for a thing and being ready to receive it. No one is ready for a thing until he believes he can acquire it. The state of mind must be belief, not mere hope or wish. Open- mindedness is essential for belief. Closed minds do not inspire faith, courage or belief.

Faith is the head chemist of the mind.

A thought thus “magnetized” with emotion may be compared to a seed that, when planted in fertile soil, germinates, grows and multiplies itself over and over again, until that one small seed becomes countless millions of seeds of the same brand!

Both poverty and riches are the offspring of thought.

Knowledge will not attract money unless it is organized and intelligently directed through practical plans of action to the definite end of accumulation of money.

Knowledge is only potential power.

An educated person is not necessarily one who has an abundance of general or specialized knowledge. Educated people have developed the faculties of their minds so that they may acquire anything they want, or its equivalent, without violating the rights of others.

Any person is educated who knows where to get knowledge when needed, and how to organize that knowledge into definite plans of action.

Successful people, in all callings, never stop acquiring specialized knowledge related to their major purpose, business or profession.

Remember, the idea is the main thing. Specialized knowledge may be found just around the corner- any corner!

The imagination is literally the workshop wherein are fashioned all plans created by people. The impulse, the desire, is given shape, form and action through the aid of the imaginative faculty of the mind. It has been said that we can create anything we can imagine.

Our only limitation, within reason, lies in the development and use of our imagination.

Ideas are the beginning points of all fortunes. Ideas are products of the imagination.

No individual has sufficient experience, education, natural ability and knowledge to ensure the accumulation of a great fortune without the cooperation of other people.

A quitter never wins- and a winner never quits.

There are two forms of leadership. The first, and by far the most effective, is leadership by consent of, and with the sympathy of, the followers. The second is leadership by force, without the consent and sympathy of the followers.

Both employer and employee are employed by the public they serve. If they fail to serve well, they pay by the loss of their privilege of serving.

People are paid not merely for what they know, but more particularly for what they do with what they know.

Before you can control conditions, you must first control yourself. Self- mastery is the hardest job you will ever tackle. If you do not conquer self, you will be conquered by self.

Most of us go through life as failures because we are waiting for the “time to be right” to start doing something worthwhile. Do not wait. The time will never be “just right”. Start where you stand, work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.

There is no hope of success for the person who repels people through a negative personality. Success comes through the application of power, and power is attained through the cooperative efforts of other people. A negative personality will not induce cooperation.

The person who takes no chances generally has to take whatever is left when others have finished choosing. Over- caution is as bad as under- caution. Life itself is filled with the element of chance.

People who succeed keep open minds and are afraid of nothing.

Intolerance means that one has stopped acquiring knowledge. The most damaging forms of intolerance are those connected with religious, radical and political differences of opinion.

Money without brains is always dangerous. Properly used, it is the most important essential of civilization.

Procrastination, the opposite of decision, is a common enemy that practically everybody must conquer.

People who fail to accumulate money, without exception, have the habit of reaching decisions, if at all, very slowly, and of changing these decisions quickly and often.

If you are influenced by the opinions of others, you will have no desire of your own.

You have a brain and mind of your own. Use it and reach your own decisions.

Tell the world what you intend to do, but first show it.

Those who reach decisions promptly and definitely know what they want, and generally get it.

Persistence is an essential factor in the procedure of transmuting desire into its monetary equivalent. The basis of persistence is the power of will.

The starting point of all achievement is desire.

Fortunes gravitate to people whose minds have been prepared to “attract” them, just as surely as water gravitates to the ocean.

Poverty consciousness will voluntarily seize the mind that is not occupied with money consciousness.

Be persistent no matter how slowly you may, at first, have to move. With persistence will come success.

Knowing what you want is the first and, perhaps, the most important step toward the development of persistence.

People refuse to take chances in business because they fear the criticism that may follow if they fail. The fear of criticism in such cases is stronger than the desire for success.

Plans are inert and useless without sufficient power to translate them into action.

Power is required for the accumulation of money!

The human mind is a form of energy.

People take on the nature and the habits and the power of thought of those with whom they associate in a spirit of sympathy and harmony.

The positive emotions of thought form the side of the stream that carries one to fortune. The negative emotions form the side that carries one down to poverty.

Anybody can wish for riches, and most people do, but only a few know that a definite plan plus a burning desire for wealth are the only dependable means of accumulating it.

Love, romance and sex are all emotions capable of driving people to heights of super achievement.

The emotions are states of mind.

One who has loved truly can never lose entirely.

Love is, without question, life`s greatest experience.

Love is an emotion with many sides, shades and colors.

The subconscious mind works day and night.

You do not become money conscious by filling your mind with negative emotions.

Positive and negative emotions cannot occupy the mind at the same time.

Form the habit of applying and using the positive emotions! Eventually, they will dominate your mind so completely that the negatives cannot enter it.

All people have become what they are because of their dominating thoughts and desires.

Indecision is the seedling of fear!

Fears are nothing more than states of mind.

There can be no compromise between poverty and riches! The two roads that lead to poverty and riches travel in opposite directions. If you want riches, you must refuse to accept any circumstance that leads toward poverty.

A state of mind is something that one assumes. It cannot be purchased; it must be created.

Nothing brings so much suffering and humility as poverty!

The fear of criticism robs people of their initiative, destroys their power of imagination, limits their individuality, takes away their self- reliance, and does them damage in a hundred other ways.

Most individuals lack the willpower to reach decisions promptly and to stand by them after they have been made.

A person whose mind is filled with fear not only destroys their own chances of intelligent action, but transmits these destructive vibrations to the minds of other people and destroys their chances as well.

You are the master of your own earthly destiny just as surely as you have the power to control your own thoughts. You may influence, direct and eventually control your own environment, making your life what you want it to be.
